Not legal advice
ScholarPetition is not a law firm. Nothing on this site or in the product constitutes legal advice. We provide software that assists with drafting petition documents; final review, approval, and filing are performed exclusively by licensed immigration attorneys engaged through our marketplace. Communications with ScholarPetition do not create an attorney–client relationship.
No filing on your behalf
ScholarPetition does not file petitions with USCIS. Every drafted document carries a "DRAFT — for attorney review only" footer until a licensed attorney engaged through our marketplace adopts the case. The attorney is responsible for verifying every factual claim, editing as appropriate, and filing.
Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you upload — your CV, publication list, citation counts, awards, etc. ScholarPetition's drafter cites the evidence you provide; if your evidence is inaccurate, the resulting draft will be too.
AI-generated content
Drafts are produced with the assistance of large language models.
While we constrain the drafter to cite evidence and to mark missing
facts as [evidence
needed: …], AI-generated text may still contain errors. The
adopting attorney is responsible for fact-checking before filing.
Acceptable use
Don't use ScholarPetition to misrepresent your record, your affiliations, or your recommenders. Don't upload documents you don't have the right to share. Don't attempt to access other tenants' data.
Termination
You may delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that appear engaged in fraud or misrepresentation in the immigration process.
